At the first One Planet summit in 2017, France committed to accelerating the deployment of electric vehicles and preparing the next stage of hydrogen.
38 %
of CO2 emissions
In France, this is the transport sector's share of responsibility, making it a major focus in the fight against global warming and its effects.

Clean vehicles not only reduce greenhouse gas emissions, they also reduce energy dependency and improve air quality in urban areas.

In line with this announcement, in 2021 the President of the Republic unveiled the France 2030 investment plan.

€ 54 B have been allocated to the plan, which is intended to make up for France's industrial lag, invest massively in innovative technologies and support the ecological transition.

In particular, the plan aims to produce nearly 2 million electric and hybrid vehicles in France by 2030, and to make France the leader in green hydrogen and renewable energies by 2030.
