The "Global Urbis" initiative provides cities with financing and technical assistance solutions. Investments totaling 4.3 billion euros have been mobilized.

Objectives:

  • mobilize private investment in high-risk sectors; 
  • encourage cities to make ambitious public commitments to stimulate investment, public procurement and political decisions (One Planet Charter campaign).

Projects:

  • 25 new cities committed to zero waste and 19 to developing low carbon buildings...;
  • innovate4cities programs (September 2018) with Google and Bloomberg Philanthropies, to provide 10,000 cities worldwide with the data they need (transport, buildings, air quality) to create and implement climate action plans.
